Drive Green – Drive Safe

Acklams Coaches have signed a three year agreement with Green Road to help back it’s Drive Green-Drive Safe Policy.

The main aim of Green Road is to reduce unnecessary driving manoeuvres, through driver training and using a traffic light system LED display on the vehicles dash with Red being an unnecessary driving manoeuvre through to green being safe driving..

The drivers will be able to obtain real time vehicle feedback through the dash board traffic light system and will also be able to receive online feedback thorough the Drive Green Driver Training Programme with the aim of sustaining driver improvement over time.

This will help Acklams Coaches together with Green Road to decrease CO2 emissions, improve on fuel consumption and increase passenger comfort and safety.  Therefore doing a bit more to help the environment.
